Job description, responsibilities and duties

Are you interested in working on yourself and developing your skills in a stable company that has been in business for more than 20 years?

We are looking for a person to join our expanding team, whose main job will be:

  • being responsible for controlling activities at the manufacturing site, including standard cost accounting, forecasting and financial reporting
  • participating in internal monthly reporting (IS, analysis of OPEX, analysis and comments to results, stock ageing, etc.)
  • participating in month-end closings and preparing monthly reports for the plant and the group
  • analyzing monthly manufacturing variances and identifying areas for improvement
  • participating in the annual budget and the quarterly forecasts
  • providing inventory analysis and valuation
  • developing and maintaining accurate standard costing
  • preparation of various financial and controlling reports for group and local management
  • preparing reports as requested – ad hoc internal reporting and analysis based on the request from superior, group or local management

Personality requirements and skills

  • minimum 5 years´ professional experience as a Controller in a manufacturing operations environment (preferably industrial production)
  • strong knowledge of cost accounting in a manufacturing company
  • advanced knowledge of English language; any additional language would be an advantage
  • PC user - proficiency in SAP-FI/CO and Excel
  • strong analytical skills
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • very good communication skills
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively
