Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Accountancy of accounting entries (booking of salary bank account statements and bank transactions, booking of special incoming invoices, issuing of outgoing invoices, booking of accruals, IFRS booking…) together with the junior accountant. .
• Analysis of new group reporting requirements and SK legal changes from mainly accounting point of view.
• In case of legal changes in SK– review the analysis of changes and suggestion of the solution, adopt the proposed solution to Scania standards and solutions and supervise the final implementation in the Scania system.
• Responsibility for the correct set-up and parameterization of the system in from accounting point of view.
• Booking of wages and accruals for bonus.
• Annual closing and reporting. Monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for standard IFRS reporting package to head office in Sweden (in cooperation with finance manager and finance controller), preparation of CAS financial statements and annual report
• Prepares and keeps records of all IFRS (in cooperation with finance manager and finance controller) and CAS adjustments (on monthly, quarterly and annual basis)
• Supervises maintenance of leasing portfolio and input of related information into accounting system on regular basis
• Supervision and preparation of data / documents / information for intercompany transactions on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Communicates with external auditors
• Communicates with external tax advisors
• Takes active part in special projects. Fulfills various reporting requirements (VAT and other tax reporting, NBS reporting, Intrastat reporting, Leasing association reporting, various statistical reports …)
• All staff within Scania Finance and Scania Slovakia
• Interactions with external partners (suppliers, customers, banks) and internal partners (sales representatives)
