Sustainability Consultant & BREEAM Assessor

We offer an exciting role to a licensed BREEAM assessor who is passionate about sustainability and would like to join our growing ESG consultancy department in our Prague office, to manage the assessment and application process on behalf of Savills clients.

The Role

As a sustainability consultant you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects adhere to the highest environmental standards. You will be conducting BREEAM and other assessments, advise on sustainable design practices and collaborate with diverse teams to drive green initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of BREEAM assessments and other rating systems for our clients with a responsibility for high quality evidence collation and final submissions;
• Advising clients on how to improve sustainability performance of buildings;
• Providing sustainability consultancy and reports to clients in a wide range of areas, including sustainability strategies and renewable feasibility studies;
• Provide advisory to other team members as well as to other departments relating to our client’s ESG agenda;
• Participate in implementation and execution of the internal ESG policy within Savills.

Ideal Candidate profile:

• Licensed BREEAM In-use assessor (International v.6 scheme is required as minimum, other schemes would be an advantage).
• Specialist skills in sustainability and environmental sector combined with a high level of competence and understanding in BREEAM and its assessment process;
• Sound understanding of building design and utilities;
• Interest in further education in the field of BREEAM and other green building assessment methods such as LEED, GRESB or others;
• Knowledge of trends and options in the field of building rating systems, carbon footprint accounting, CRREM, Net Zero Carbon, EU Taxonomy and other ESG topics knowledge would be an advantage;
• Willingness to work with the ESG team to develop new services and templates;
• Understanding of processes in companies and their standardization;
• Good organizational and time management skills;
• A Team player with strong client orientation, convincing in communicating with clients in Czech (Slovak) and English.
• Languages: Czech/Slovak - C2 level, English B2 level
