Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Management and coordination of the purchasing, logistics, shipping, and warehouse teams
  • Responsibility for the smooth flow of materials and logistics from suppliers to customers
  • Management of supplier selection and evaluation of suppliers and logistics partners
  • Searching for new suppliers, negotiating and agreeing on business terms
  • Responsibility for analyzing purchase prices and optimizing prices
  • Participating in setting purchasing and pricing strategies
  • Supervising compliance with delivery deadlines, quality, and costs
  • Setting up, managing, and continuously improving processes in the above areas
  • Actively seeking opportunities for savings in purchasing, logistics, and warehousing
  • Planning and optimizing inventory, delivery conditions, and logistics flows
  • Optimizing storage and handling, optimal use of handling equipment and rational utilization of carriers
  • Managing the inventory process
  • Responsibility for compliance and accuracy of process and logistics documentation
    designing and implementing improvements leading to greater process efficiency and reliability

  • Experience in managing people and processes
  • Good understanding of purchasing, logistics, and warehouse processes
  • Experience with process optimization and cost reduction
  • Ability to analyze problems and implement systematic solutions
  • Ability to negotiate and build good supplier relationships
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS Excel
  • Knowledge of English at B2 level
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Ability to lead people and set clear rules
  • Proactive, systematic, and responsible approach
