Sales Representative Czech Republic & Slovakia
Job description, responsibilities and duties
This role, while non-managerial, involves frequent travel to the Czech & Slovak Republics. We require candidates with prior sales management experience, preferably in Home & Garden, FMCG, or pharmaceuticals.
Your primary responsibility will be to sell Home & Garden products, demanding in-depth product knowledge. Please note that as we don't have a stationary office in the Czech Republic, you will be expected to establish and operate from your own home office.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Managing direct and indirect customers (distributors, wholesalers, shops) within the assigned territory to meet quarterly and annual sales targets
- Maintaining strong customer relationships, collect orders, and execute action plans in coordination with the Marketing Team
- Staying informed about market competitors and contribute to team meetings
- Drive sell-out through order-taking, merchandising, and customer education
- Overseeing in-store product presentations and demonstrations
- Ensuring timely reporting, support the S&OP process, and contribute to business planning
- Managing customer claims and assist with stock management
- Keeping stakeholders informed of relevant market activities
- This role demands strong customer relations, market insight, and organizational skills

- Desired educational background includes Biology, Agriculture, Marketing, or Business.
- Demonstrated sales track record of at least 3 years, preferably
- Prior experience with an international company is a plus.
- Proven sales proficiency in both traditional and modern trade.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Residency in the Czech or Slovak Republic is required, with
- Effective negotiation abilities.
- Excellent administrative and planning aptitude.
- Capable of working autonomously, proactively, and efficiently.
- Adaptable to multitasking with precision, even under pressure.
- Strong collaboration capabilities. • Skilled in verbal and written communication.
- Quick learner, team-oriented, proactive, pragmatic, supportive, assertive, mature, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
- Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and a can-do attitude.
- Available for frequent business travel.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
