Job description, responsibilities and duties

One of the Europe’s top leaders in logistics warehousing services, with portfolio over 40 logistics parks across 9 countries is looking for a skilled Accountant Specialist, who will be a strong support for the local Slovak team.
Job description:

  • Complex accounting
  • Processing of monthly and annual closings
  • Cooperation on audits
  • Tracking the account balance of receivables and payables
  • Processing of statements and returns (VAT, CIT, Vehicle Tax, etc...)
  • Close cooperation with Property and Facility managers
  • Preparation of statistical reports
  • Creating various reports
  • Communication with clients and authorities
  • Occasional travel to the site of logistic parks and warehouses

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Slovak accounting
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience with Czech accounting is a plus
  • IFRS is a plus
  • Independence and organizational skills
