Our client is a well-known international online company and a market leader who is growing their excellent Payroll team in Slovak and Czech Republic. We are looking for smart candidates with strong background in Payroll.

  • Run Payroll operations insisting on the highest Standards and with the highest controllership
  • Ensuring that Payroll complies with internal policies and local legislations at all times
  • Be an independent end-to-end Country Owner, taking ownership of escalations and driving issues to resolution
  • Actively drive changes and improvements, launch projects, launch new entities, and overall, to own the country change management process
  • Influence tactical country decisions
  • Provide Payroll Accounting support
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for HR stakeholders and Finance Partners
  • Consistently demonstrate ability to actively educate others on a subject matter
  • Participate in Vendor operations management

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

French - Proficiency (C2) and English - Proficiency (C2)

Personality requirements and skills

We are looking for experienced Payroll professionals who would like to move their career up to a new level.

General criteria for the position are as follows:
  • min. 3-5 years of experience in Payroll Administration or Accounting (for any European or Middle East country)
  • Fluent English and French
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup and other formulas)
  • Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details
  • Passion for process transitions - sense of innovation

Preferred Qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of personal income tax legislation, labor law
  • Familiar with SAP, People Soft, Workday, ADP software
  • Experience with process transitions
