Job description, responsibilities and duties
As a Python Software Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for improving customer experience & satisfaction through personalized recommendations and predictions based on machine learning and a large amount of customer behavior data.
Your role as a Python Software Engineer will be to build and maintain:
Your role would be also to design and build data pipelines and storage for ML models.
The role is suitable for an engineer with an interest in data science (90%programming, 10%AI/machine learning).
Your role as a Python Software Engineer will be to build and maintain:
- Machine learning-based product recommendation platform for hundreds of e-commerce stores serving millions of customers
- Predictive analytics to learn customers' behavior and predict their future actions
- Next-gen A/B/* testing based on contextual multi-armed bandit models
- Machine learning models
- APIs for recommendations and predictions
Your role would be also to design and build data pipelines and storage for ML models.
The role is suitable for an engineer with an interest in data science (90%programming, 10%AI/machine learning).

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
- Ability to write clean and concise code in Python ecosystem
- Experience with developing complex distributed software systems with production quality deployment, monitoring, and reliability
- Familiarity with large-scale distributed storage and database systems (SQL or NoSQL, e.g. Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes on a user level.
- Familiarity with Kafka, mongo, Redis.
- Familiarity with CI/CD.
- A solid grasp on good software engineering practices such as code reviews, deep focus on quality and documentation
- Ability and willingness to deep dive into and comprehend large codebases
- Willingness to troubleshoot and debug technical issues inside a deep and complex technical stack
