Senior C#/Team Lead (Bratislava/Oslo, Norway)

Rystad Energy has become a leading intelligence provider to the energy industry, providing management consulting and access to industry data databases. The technology team plays a key role in developing our products and supporting the organization. Since the demand for our services is growing we have decided to establish an offshore developer team in Bratislava, as we already have an office there.

We are currently looking for a senior developer who will lead the local team. The team will work as an integrated part of the main team in Oslo, but will also take main responsibility for certain tasks. We foresee a 4-6 months stay in Oslo to get integrated in the work flows before starting work in Bratislava.

The C# team develops and maintains desktop, web and mobile applications used by external clients and internal users. This includes programming of GUI and back-end, interfacing with SQLServer, Office and other commercial applications, processing and manipulation of data, programming of web applications, and more. The candidate is expected to take lead on larger tasks, and contribute actively to choice of solutions and technologies for improving existing and developing new solutions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated colleague with excellent skills within the above scope. Candidates should like challenges and “to make things that work", have a good eye for improvements, and implement solutions. Further, candidates are good team players and have people skills to lead a team.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with full stack development and use of C#, .NET, and interfacing with SQL
- Should have experience from leading role in team work
- Experience with other tools and languages is a plus (HTML5, Angular, Xamarin..)
