Job description, responsibilities and duties

OpenAPI team is a part of fully agile, end2end IT Delivery Data Services team in RPC and is responsible for building, running and improving APIs which support several critical card business products and services for Raiffeisen banks in CEE/SEE.

APIs are becoming a key component for integration and data presentation within the Raiffeisen, and quality of deliveries and their automation is an important success pillar.
We would like to bring our OpenAPI team to the next level and for this we are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer.

What would be your agenda:
• Definition of test scenarios based on business requirements and solution description
• Preparation and review of test scripts and test cases for automated night runs
• Execution of test scripts and test cases
• Preparation and review of test reports
• Handling test bugs and defects on all environments
• Close cooperation with developers within the team
• Support by integration testing with customers
• Support of less experienced team members and knowledge sharing
• Participation on performance testing

Wage (gross)

2 300 EUR/monthminimum 2300 € + fixed allowances twice a year + bonus (if you are more senior please, don´t hesitate to share your expectations. Final salary depends on candidates level of experiences and skills.)

Information about the selection process

Thank you very much for your interest in our job vacancies at RPC. The recruitment process may vary depending on the position, your seniority, or the number of applicants, but in general you may expect:

1) A short call with our HR to give you an introduction about RPC and the team, and to find out about your expectations and background.
2) Suitable candidates will then be invited to an interview with the hiring manager. A senior professional from the team may sometimes be available as well.
3) The reference check/employment verification is a part of the process, too. If you already have written references from your last/previous employer(s), please attach them together with your CV.

We do our best to cut the process to minimum, but at the same time we try hard to get to know you to see whether it will work for both sides. Sometimes we use tests or need an extra meeting with you.

• Practical experience with software testing is a condition (functional or integration tests)
• Analytical thinking, ability to analyze problems and design a constructive solution
• Ability to self-study, acquiring knowledge from documentation

• Good communications skills
• Basics of SQL and Unix are welcomed
• ReadyAPI (or another tool for API testing)
• REST API knowledge
• Basic scripting knowledge (e.g. groovy)
• GitLab
• Knowledge of XML, MQ, Kafka of advantage
