Field Service Engineer West

Responsible for setup and installation of Roche solutions ( (chemistry, immunology, molecular, life sciences, and IT) for clients. Ensures instruments are installed and meet the manufacturer’s specifications according to implementation timeline plans. Performs minor troubleshooting during the installation process to ensure installations are made ready for performance validation. Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems/equipment; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution.

Field service technician in the field of Roche technological equipment and laboratory products. Installation, repair, maintenance of equipment at Roche customer sites in Slovakia and within the SRSE region, of which the Slovak Republic is a part.

Work in laboratories, from the installation of new equipment through their maintenance, repairs using an assigned warehouse with spare parts using knowledge from training, if necessary with the assistance of a regional or global support center. Active cooperation with other colleagues on complex projects within the department and other parts of the company involved in the individual processes.

Key activities and responsibilities:

- Use of internal software tools to provide customer-friendly solutions.
- Supporting the organization in the preparation of customer projects.
- Support of installed devices onsite or by remote connection.
- Expanding the possibilities of existing solutions and constant customer support in their use.
- Recording of all your activities via internal systems
- Traveling within the SRSE region 30-40%
