Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your own responsibilities will be following:

Communication with the shared service center and common responsibility for proper accounting treatments of supplier invoices and manual journal entries and reconciliations.
Preparing import files, posting employee deductions, checking open liability items and preparing items for payment.
Active participation in month-end close activities, such as reporting, data reconciliation, preparation/reviewing of journal entries

Daily tasks/responsibilities

- Invoices not booked based on the order
- Missing invoices from Intercompany Suppliers at the end of the month
- Performs GRIR control - confirmation of receipt of goods and services.
- Various manual journals preparation
- Monthly billing of the purchase and consumption of fuel by the company's employees
- Continuously checks the posting of supplier invoices of the Diagnostic Division.
- Performs a monthly check on VAT accounting and a monthly check on cost accounting.
- Controls open items in the balance sheet accounts, mainly liabilities, advance payments and deferred costs.
- Prepare accounting of outgoing invoices for the sale of IT assets and vehicles.
- Fixed assets accounting
- Preparation of settlements and clearing of customer accounts
- Supporting various projects and initiatives

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Educational Specialization

in the area of Accounting, Business Administration, Finance

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)

Other knowledge

Double-entry bookkeeping - advanced
Microsoft Excel - advanced

Required knowledge, Skills and Abilities
2+ years of experiences in Double-entry bookkeeping end to end process
Understanding of Slovak taxation
Communication and negotiation skills
Attention to details
Ability to Identify ways to streamline processes/activities
English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)
Microsoft Excel - advanced
SAP - advanced
