Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Being the EMEA regional Commodity Manager for electronics: general electronics, passive, microcontrollers, capacitors, PCB, coils, magnets and so on.
• Provide a strategy on each commodity, lead and coordinate activities in order to implement projects on each site in cooperation with the site buyers.
• Put in place activities to develop projects in support of the Supply-Chain Director’s guidelines.
• Facilitate the daily purchasing activity, consistent with customer and Robertshaw plant requirements.
• Develop and implement regional commodity strategies.
• Lend support to the execution of Robertshaw global commodities’ strategies.
• Initiate, start and implement cost savings projects in order to achieve the Budget target.
• Assist Robertshaw plants with problem resolution on any supply-chain related issues.

Experience Required:
• Five years’ experience in a purchasing/supply-chain electronic (EL) commodity management role.
• Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Education & Special Knowledge Required:
• Attained an appropriate business qualification/degree; with specialization in Purchasing and/or Technical study.
• Knowledge of a similar industry will be considered an advantage.
Skills & Competencies Required:
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Analytical ability and self-motivated.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and team player.
• Project and team management knowledge.
• Customer focused.
• Well-developed business acumen with problem-solving skills.
• Confident to negotiate at all levels and across cultures.
• Professional and ethical approach.
