Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Manage RFQ process from manufacturing point of view
• Coordinate RFQ process accross different electronics plants
• Design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts, components and integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications.
• Design to meet/exceed the Sigma Level specified by the customers
• Execute and determine design approaches and parameters for electronic components
• Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results
• Execute design for assembly (DFA) and design for manufacturability (DFM)
• Establish control validation plans

Electronic industry experience is a MUST.
Experience with Project management & Project team leadership.
5 years’ experience as electronic engineer for an Electronics or component manufacturer
• Awareness of applicable agency and industry standards affecting design in order to select appropriate design changes
• Knowledge of alternative electronic sources and selection of components to reduce cost
• Ability to analyze circuit and system design to reduce cost
• Ability to think critically regarding the manufacturability of an electronics design.
• Results driven, energetic, self-motivating and self-directed, strong sense of urgency
• Understanding of and ability to consider component life cycle to minimize end-of-life re-qualification efforts
• Understanding of processes for quoting and ability to analyze and optimize processes
• DFM analysis experience
• Ability to consider optimum location for the product (Matamoros, Qingdao, Trnava)
• Bc, Engineering minimum
• 5 years’ experience as electronic engineer for a component manufacturer.
• Understanding of drafting standards and geometric, dimensions, & tolerances (GD&T)
• 3D/CAD Solid Modeling - CREO with Windchill is preferred
• English proficiency
