Job description, responsibilities and duties

This position is responsible for the analysis, troubleshooting, support, and resolving customer escalated issues of their communication infrastructure. Supports Unified Communications solutions and applications related Skype for Business Server, Skype for Business online, Teams or other designated voice, video and data applications.

Candidate must be a self-starter, well organized, a team player and a problem solver. Position requires independence and accountability as well as a collaborative effort. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain identified industry certifications for designated technology being supported. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Personality requirements and skills

• Desired knowledge of Voice over IP solutions
• Desired knowledge and practical experience in Networking
• Decent understanding of the IT and Telecommunications market
• Good understanding of Unified Communication concepts (Voice over IP, signaling and real
time protocols);
• Good understanding of network concepts (DNS, network protocols, IPs and ports, and
• Good understanding of Microsoft Windows Environment and Services.
