Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Creation of control software for PLC, drives and robotic systems.
- Creation of visualization for HMI panels.
- Creation and maintenance of accompanying documentation as well as final documentation.
- Communication with customers and suppliers.
- Machine commissioning at customer followed by machine testing.
- Execution of service activities at customer (worldwide).
- Training of the customer’s employees.
- Work with pneumatic, hydraulic, laser and optic systems.
- Participation in innovative activities and development of new products for steel making and foundry industry.

Personality requirements and skills
- Flexible, independent, responsible, good communication skills, willingness to travel.
- Knowledge of English language on communicative level (other languages – advantage).
- Knowledge of Siemens and KUKA control systems (other control systems - advantage).
- Knowledge and experience of programming in the TIA Portal V15 and upper environment.
- Knowledge and experience of programming KUKA robot controllers KRC4 and KRC5 (KRC2 - advantage).
- Knowledge and experience with vision systems is an advantage (Cognex, Keyence, SICK, Photoneo).
- Knowledge of reading drawing documentation (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
- Certificate of professional competency to operate electrical equipment pursuant to §21 is an advantage.
