Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for Architect with following experience:

Description and maintenance of architectural system maps
- Using Visual paradigm tool
- HW infrastructure landscape - cooperation with HW architect
- SW infrastructure landscape
- Dependencies map, service to HW, service to module
- Documentation maintenance and spread into other departments

Architect in projects
- Participate in big projects 120 MDs – 5000 MDs
- Understand overall business requirements and challenge them
- Propose optimal solutions, discuss solutions with software analysts
- Understand overall solution context
- Provide indicative and final offer estimates along with the team
- Cover non-functional requirements
- Coordination of IT activities, cooperation with PM
- Visit client banks across middle and east Europe - strong participation on workshops

Integration architect
- Mainly part of project activities
- Propose solution for online integration – web services, messaging, transformation
- Files integration – protocols, transformations
- Strong focus on performance

Architect for smaller activities
- Up to 120 MDs
- Change requests and defects
- Help to specify requirements
- CAB member
- Review solution provided by SW analyst
- Point out potential issues – maintenance, monitoring, performance, security…

Company strategy
- Strong cooperation with other architects
- Preparing materials for strategical company direction in upcoming time period
- Estimates - CAPEX, OPEX, PEREX

Wage (gross)

2 500 EUR/monthminimum 2500 € + fix allowances twice a year + bonus (base salary depends on candidates level of experiences and skills)

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Other knowledge

UML - Unified Modeling Language - advanced

Personality requirements and skills

Skills requirements:
- Card business: being in the domain at least for 2 years
- Analyst skills: T-shaped ability – less detailed know how about many areas, detail know how in specific area
- Visual paradigm UML tool or any other - enterprise architect, archimate …
- Integration patterns / frameworks: SOA, web services, MQ, microservices - advantage
- Programming language: at least one of these: C++, C#, Java
- Databases: good knowledge of SQL, Oracle technologies

- Analytical thinking
- Decision maker – with reasoning in background
- Participate – able to listen to colleagues
- Name and solve risks and issues in right time, not too late

RPC was established in 2000 as a division of Tatra banka, and with more than 18 years of success stories we provide services in the area of issuance and acceptance of payment cards to member banks of the Raiffeisen bank International Group. The separate company was established in 2008 as a Shared Service Centre to centralize the group’s card payment operations and to achieve high efficiency and price competitiveness.
