You: Today we are going to implement yet another high available, stable and performance fine-tuned
binary.

Your Team: What does that mean?

You: Let’s focus to 100 TPS (transactions per second) and 200 millisecond response time supporting
different transactions on POS devices in Croatia. Do you think it’s manageable?

You Team: Yes, of course we have done this dozen times in the past.

Scope of work
Managerial part – 50%
• Leading small team of 4 developers. Development is primarily held in C/C++ language
• Team is responsible for SW analysis, development and production support of card system modules with focus on availability, correctness and speed of online services
• Resource cappacity planning and task tracking
• tasks management – projects, change requests, defects, incidents – priority setting
• foresees and mitigates risks and issues
• represents team in communication towards other departments
• Responsiblity for release management (dates, planning)
• team strategy preparation, evolution of maintained application
• evolution of team work and team spirit
• professional and personal people development

Analytical and development part – 50%
• SW analysis – solution proposal based on business requirement, review of analysis prepared by other colleagues
• Responsibility for design and development of SW solutions based on solution proposal
• Work on authorization part of card management system and satellite services in C/C++ language
• Test support
• Code review, responsibility for code quality and standards
• Support during SW installation into operation
• 3rd level for incidents and problems

Wage (gross)

minimum 2500 € + fix allowances twice a year + bonus (base salary depends on candidates level of experiences and skills)

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Technical skills:
• senior C/C++ developer – 2-3 years primarily in unix based systems
• SQL and oracle DB – advanced
• Unix based system work – advanced
• Solaris – advantage
• SVN, GIT, bash, ksh
