Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Our mission is to break the card management system sooner than our clients do – our main focus is online services and authorization (in-house developed)
- Developers have sometimes big heads of us. We are finding issues in areas they were not even thinking about. Sitting with them in one office is helping us greatly
- Creating test cases, finding and reporting defects, improving and simplifying our work is our daily bread
- We need to assure performance – transaction is proceesed in 2 eye blinks ;-)
- You would not believe but we are getting paid for simulating the work. We even have specialized simulators for this purpose (eg. POS transactions simulator, which stands for the real POS in the shop but its faster )

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

minimum 1500 € + fix allowances twice a year + bonus (base salary depends on candidates level of experiences and skills)

Personality requirements and skills

- All of us are thinking ouf of the box in our domain (cards) and looking for colleagues with similar mindset
- Skills are important but what we value much more is analytical and detail oriented thinking. Technologies like UNIX, SQL, XML can be learned on the fly. But if you are interested what is our preference for the candidate see bellow

Technical skills:
- Test development process – advanced level
- Unix(Solaris) platform – basic level
- Scripting (Shell/Ruby) – basic level (ability to read the code at the minimum)
- SQL/PL SQL(SQLPlus, PL/SQL Developer, SQL Developer) - basic level
- XML - basic level
- Understanding of network communication(client-server, TCP/IP, MQ, ...) - basic level

Soft skills:
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, analytical and logical thinking, problem solving skills, attention to details, creative thinking, thinking outside-the-box, ability to read technical documentation, communication skills, reliability, team player, ability to work independently and efficiently, willing to learn.

The separate company was established in 2008 as a Shared Service Centre to centralize the group’s card payment operations and to achieve high efficiency and price competitiveness.
