Supply planning Manager

▪ analyzes MRP system and determines orders to be placed according to schedule
▪ is directly responsible for the functional areas of Planning, Master Scheduling, Purchasing, Warehousing, Shipping and Inventory Control, and directly coordinate with Production
• manages the development of the production plan by collaborating with Supply Chain, Production and Customer service to achieve exceptional levels of OTD and flexibility
• plans, organizes, manages the inventory to appropriate levels that maximize customer satisfaction and minimize distress
• monitors inventory levels and reviews and revises production plan as needed to reduce shortages and excess inventory
• analyzes data and trends to better plan people, equipment and materials usage
• provides required follow up regarding raw material and supply quality complaints to insure timely corrective action and proper settlement
• supports all plant initiatives such as Lean/Six Sigma, TPM, EHSS
• ensure integrity of past productions and success of future productions by analyzing incoming data from production and communicating with appropriate personnel regarding issues and discrepancies
• assists in hiring, training, development, goal setting, performance evaluation, employee relations and day-to-day management of direct reports
