Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Managing the finance team across each of the offices ensuring proper maintenance of books and records
* Reporting monthly management accounts for each office
* Ownership of budgets and forecasts for all three offices
* Cash flow reporting, undertake balance sheet analysis
* Management of group intercompany reconciliation process
* Manage the teams in each country to submit quarterly VAT returns to local tax authorities in line with local VAT regulations
* Adhere to local statutory requirements with regards to Financial Statements, Company Annual Returns in collaboration with the local finance team

Well-recognized international PR agency is looking for Finance Manager for DACH region. This is a regional role covering 3 small businesses. There is requirement to travel between branches in Austria and Germany twice a months to be able to report to CEO and support local financial team.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

* Very good knowledge of German statutory legislation and local compliance is the main condition
* ACCA qualification or similar certification is preferred
* Knowledge of Cognos and TM1 is advantage
* Expertise in reporting, planning and controlling
* Strong analytical/problem solving skills, with a high level of commercial acumen
* Strong organizational skills
* International or global role experience
* Language: Fluent English
