Web Developer - Internal tools for 10K+ users (AngularJS, Bootstrap)

Job Summary
The Red Hat IT Productivity Team is looking for a talented Web Developer to join us in Brno, Czech Republ. In this role, you will focus on maintaining a set of home grown applications written in Python and Perl, as well as several integrations and customizations to our ever expanding suite of productivity tools. The current toolset includes Jive, Google Apps, ServiceNow, Lucidworks Fusion, and Alfresco. The role will involve a variety of projects and you must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. This team has a high visibility and impact, because our work is directly used by 8,500+ users globally at Red Hat.

Primary Job Responsibilities
Maintain a set of home grown applications
Integrate and customize productivity tools
Analyze and clarify business requirements to implement server-side business logic and client-side
Analyze log files to help debug problems
Evaluate open source solutions to meet business needs

Required Skills
Experience developing web applications
Knowledge of server-side Python, Perl, PHP, or Java; client-side JavaScript and Angular, Backbone, and Node.js skills
Understanding of modern web technology (HTML, DOM, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, cookies, sessions, etc.), web security, and common exploits
Thorough understanding of Web APIs and related technologies, including SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, XSLT, etc.
Linux system experience
Experience with Jive, Google Apps, Alfresco, ServiceNow, and Lucidworks/SOLR
Ability to interact and follow-up with vendors when questions arise
