Job description, responsibilities and duties
Trade marketing manager is the key role of the sales department, whose main purpose is to direct and oversee the strategic and long-term planning function as well as to drive the implementation of the strategic initiatives. Therefor, as our Key person, you will always be thinking about “how to sell more cans”. You will have full responsibility for all trade budgets including assets like coolers etc. You will be the brain behind all important initiatives in sales department. Your will be personally driving the most important strategic projects including Pricing, Trade activation, Trade term optimization, Promostrategy, Route-to-market strategy etc.
AREAS THAT PLAY TO YOUR STRENGTHS:
#Preparation of strategic plans and their implementation
The category of energy drinks is very dynamic, and changes are coming quickly. Your main task will be to constantly monitor market and internal environment and look for opportunities how to sell more cans, thus increasing our market share. No long-term growth will come by itself without a great strategy. In this role, you will, with your Trade marketing and insight specialist, identify potential growth drivers and than prepare and execute plans which will leads us to Value share and profitability growth.
#Full Offpremise budget responsibility
Even the best plan will never work on its own unless it is well implemented executed. Therefore, much of your responsibility will be to coordinate and lead the implementation of these plans. You will have direct responsibility for all Trade budgets including the assets management. You and your team will have full responsibility and authority to decide where to invest and how.
# Management of strategic projects
Management of cross-department projects focused on commercial areas is a very important part of our strategy. The ability to lead a project across industries such as Channel strategy, Customer Satisfaction, Route-to-market model, Trade term optimization, Pricing & promo efficiency, Profitability improvemnts, Field sales model optimization etc., requires a unique experience, knowledge and confidence. The reward will be the feeling that you will be behind the most important changes in society.
#Business understanding
There is power in data. Long-term growth cannot be achieved without following current commercial trends. For this reason, your task will be to have a great understanding of the market, competitors and customers so that you can use this information to prepare a long-term growth strategy.
Your team will also have full responsibility for sales reporting and you as leader will decide into which insights we will invests.
#Trade marketing & category
Both Red Bull and Organics are our biggest assets. You will have full responsibility (including full budget ownership) of strategy development and execution aligned with the brand strategy and strategic wheel.
Together with your category manager you will create and execute category management plans, which will defend our category captain positions.
#People development
You will lead by example and you will make sure, that you will be constantly encouraging and helping people in your team with personal development.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
In addition to talent, we are happy to give space and experience (this role requires your preparation for a senior role for at least 5 years in one of the following areas: Business Development, Business Insight, Trade Marketing, Key Account Management)
The ability to take a comprehensive view of any problem or opportunity is a must.
Strong communication and business skills are necessary for internal enforcement of the company's strategy.
