Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence, business intelligence, automation, and transformation initiatives within a global finance shared services environment.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and focuses on improving processes, enhancing service delivery, leveraging data-driven decision-making, and supporting the long-term maturity of a global business services organization.

The successful candidate will lead continuous improvement initiatives across multiple functions while partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team supporting business intelligence, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Drive operational excellence and process optimization across finance and shared services functions

  • Design and implement KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting solutions to support data-driven decisions

  • Identify and deliver automation opportunities through workflow optimization, process mining, RPA, and digital technologies

  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects focused on efficiency, quality, and service performance

  • Support business transitions, process stabilization, and service integration activities

  • Develop business cases, assess financial impact, and track benefit realization of improvement initiatives

  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, HR, Procurement, IT, and other business stakeholders

  • Drive adoption of new processes and technologies through change management and stakeholder engagement

  • Prepare and present recommendations, progress updates, and project outcomes to senior leadership

Requirements for the employee

Minimum education required

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), Finance Operations, or similar environments

  • Proven experience leading teams and managing cross-functional transformation initiatives

  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, process improvement methodologies, and change management principles

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required (Black Belt preferred)

  • Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms

  • Knowledge of automation technologies, workflow optimization, process mining, and digital transformation initiatives

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights

  • Experience building KPI frameworks, performance reporting, and business cases

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and operate effectively within complex, matrix organizations

  • Experience working with SAP or other enterprise systems is an advantage

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
