Job description, responsibilities and duties
Are you ready to contribute to the development and maintenance of the robust International Banking System (IBS) platform utilized by banks and financial institutions globally? Handle inquiries from major financial hubs like New York, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, and even engage with national governments?
Join our team! The in-house IBS platform is the backbone of client services, and we're offering a unique opportunity for individuals in Czechia. We're seeking talent across various experience levels, whether you're a budding developer or a seasoned Mainframe professional – let's connect!
What to Anticipate:
- become a valued member of our international team consisting of 10 specialists located in Belgium, India, and Czechia.
- contribute to the development and upkeep of the IBS platform, envisioning it as a global mini bank where your responsibility is to ensure seamless operation.
- tasks include coding (primarily PL/1 with a focus on maintenance), testing (using changeMan, IDZ/GitHub platform), performance tuning, process release, and more.
- create user-friendly documentation (concise one-pagers) and gather insights for retrospective incident discussions.
- actively collaborate with other teams in a dynamic environment.
- this role entails a long-term commitment, with a training period lasting up to 2 years

- experience with any of the following: PL/I, COBOL, DB2 environment.
