At Merck, we are looking for a new colleague (m/w), an Automation Engineer for Windows Server Platform, who will focus primarily on automation within the Windows Server area using Infrastructure as Code development processes.
You will be required to develop and operationalize new automated solutions for Windows Server deployments, configuration, service improvements, support, and maintaining existing solutions.

• Over 5 Year experience in a technical Windows Role.
• Extensive experience with PowerShell Desired State Configuration & PowerShell Scripting.
• Practical experience interfacing with REST API services.
• Experience and understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts and principles and their application to a Global and varied IT landscape.
• Experience with Cloud technologies within AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong technical writing, presentation, and training skills. The focus should be on User Experience in all things.
• Experience using Azure DevOps Pipelines, Artifacts, Repos, Test Cases, Backlogs, and Tasks is an advantage.
