A Threat Hunter is an information security professional who proactively and iteratively detects, isolates, and neutralizes advanced threats that evade automated security solutions.
You will also have these duties:
• Perform intelligence and hunting activities.
• Identify gaps in logging capabilities and develop and propose strategies to fill them.
• Identify and propose automated alerts for new and previously unknown threats.
• Communicate findings and provide targeted and actionable reports.

Threat Hunters must have:
• Knowledge of the current threat landscape, and Tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs), to detect active threats within the network.
• Knowledge of web services, operating systems and SIEM solutions.
• Have strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work together with other professionals from other information security fields.
• Previous experience in a SOC team is required. Previous experience as a threat hunter is desirable
• Coding Skills - fluency in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, etc.). Desirable experience in one or more compiling languages (C, C++, etc.).
