Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a colleague to join the AWS Cloud Engineer team , whose role is to operate the AWS Cloud, implementing business and customer requirements.

You can work in a combination of : Nitra+Homeoffice/Presov+Homeoffice/remote by agreement

Your tasks:
- Design, implement and manage large cloud-based infrastructures
- Monitor and optimise cloud performance, costs and scalability
- Ensure security and compliance in cloud environments
- Automate cloud operations and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
- Writing and updating documentation
- Advising and training customers

Personality requirements and skills

What are we expecting:

- Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Good knowledge of cloud architecture and services.
- In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Understanding of networking technologies, security and event-driven development.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills (team language: English).

Good to know, have:
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
