Accounting Associate with German (m/f)

Are you an accounting professional with initial hands-on experience who enjoys working with clients and wants to grow in an international environment?
In this role, you will take ownership of selected accounting areas and actively support clients in their operational finance processes.
You will work independently on assigned tasks, communicate confidently with German-speaking clients, and gradually grow into a trusted finance partner.

Responsibilities

• Independently support operational accounting processes (AP, AR, GL, Procure-to-Pay)
• Record, review, and reconcile financial transactions within agreed timelines
• Manage open items, follow-ups, and clarifications with clients and internal teams
• Support end-to-end finance processes, including cash application and treasury-related activities
• Actively communicate wit German-speaking clients (emails, calls, meetings)
• Participate in month-end closing and support financial reporting
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Perform basic financial analysis and identify discrepancies
• Contribute to process improvements and increased efficiency
• Support junior colleagues when needed
