Expert Deals Consultant– Transaction Advisory (m/f)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Why are we opening this role?
The PwC Deals team is growing significantly, bringing an increasing volume of projects across the full Deals spectrum – from Financial Due Diligence, through M&A and valuations, to broader transaction advisory services. We are currently working on multiple transactions in parallel and are looking to strengthen the team with an experienced consultant who can take ownership of projects and be accountable for their successful delivery.

Whether you are currently working in Big 4, a consulting firm or an investment environment, if you have strong experience in Deals, M&A, valuations or due diligence and want to further develop it within a multi‑skilled team, this role could be a great fit.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Deals consultant who will play a key role in leading projects, primarily with a focus on Financial Due Diligence, while naturally being involved in broader Deals activities as well.

At PwC Deals, our people are multi‑skilled, combining expertise across due diligence, M&A, valuations and financial modelling. While Financial Due Diligence is an important pillar of this role, it is not the only possible background we are looking for.

This position is open to experienced Deals professionals ranging from senior consultant to manager‑level profiles. What matters to us is what you can bring and the level of responsibility you are ready to take on, not the title you currently hold.

Your responsibilities
  • lead and coordinate Financial Due Diligence projects, from smaller assignments to complex transactions with further growth potential,
  • take full responsibility for the quality of analytical outputs and client deliverables,
  • analyse financial statements and identify key risks and deal drivers,
  • lead preparation of EBITDA normalisations, working capital, debt and cash‑flow analyses,
  • contribute to valuations, financial modelling and M&A analyses depending on project needs,
  • communicate with clients at a senior level and translate expectations into practical team solutions,
  • work closely with tax, legal and other advisory teams,
  • develop junior team members, provide mentoring and support allocation of responsibilities within the team.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced colleague who is ready to take responsibility for projects and people.

What we offer
  • a strategic role in a growing Deals team with real impact,
  • exposure to diverse local and cross‑border transactions,
  • the opportunity to shape projects as well as the way the team works,
  • flexibility and a high level of trust,
  • an environment where mindset and experience matter more than your current title.
