Job description, responsibilities and duties
Deals department in PwC Advisory is currently looking for an Experienced Consultant with previous working experience in the area of valuations and financial modelling, who will join our team.
In the PwC Deals team we provide our clients with a complex range of transaction advisory services, incl. valuations, due diligence, buy side / sell side mandates, as well as distressed corporate advisory services.
The general preference is to allocate the consultants to various types of projects in order to gain proper understanding of the transaction advisory services, at the same time, the further development from a senior level requires specialization in certain part of our projects, in this case the valuations and financial modelling, nevertheless you can still expect a dynamic and exciting project pipeline.
Your main responsibilities will cover:

Your main responsibilities will cover:
- Preparation of business / asset valuations
- Review of business plans
- Estimation of WACC
- Audit assistance – i.e. cooperation with our Audit team on impairments of fixed assets,
- Financial investments, WACC benchmarking
- Coaching of junior associates
- Participation on other deals projects (DD, M&A mandates, etc.) based on our pipeline and capacity requirements

Personality requirements and skills
- Hard-working person with strong financial analysis skills not afraid to explore new areas
- University degree/High school degree in Economics
- Previous experience with business and asset valuations / PPA, as well as financial modelling for at least 2 years preferably in a consulting role
- Good understanding of the company financials, ability to identify the key value drivers
- Understanding of the valuation methodologies / principles, value drivers, WACC components
- Advanced Excel skills (VBA, Alteryx, PowerBI, etc. is a plus)
- Ability to summarize valuation approach and methodology in a written export
- Fluency in Slovak and active knowledge of English
