Job description, responsibilities and duties

A leading international investment group managing a portfolio of commercial properties is looking to hire TECHNICAL MANAGER / FACILITY MANAGER for a shopping centre in Bratislava.

The main aim is to lead technical team to implement and support high standards of property and ensure high safety level.

Main tasks will cover:

- Smooth running of the property
- Selection process for external suppliers
- Management of a smaller team of Technicians - Hiring, leading, motivating and training
- Effective scheduling of technical maintenance & repair works
- Organization of duty managers procedures, schedules
- Coordination of in-house team of maintenance as well as external services provider (security, cleaning etc.)
- Develop and maintain good relationships with external and internal customers
- Regular communication with tenants
- Budget preparation including investment plans
- Energy and cost optimalisation
- Problem solving
- Direct reporting to Director of the shopping centre business centre in Bratislava

Candidate profile:

- Ideally university degree in technical field;
- Ideally 5-10 years of working experience in real estate facility management of commercial properties or hospitality
- Strong customer orientation
- Managerial experience (supervising a smaller team)
- Ability to deal with challenging situations and work under pressure
- Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for consequences
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Native Czech or Slovak and advanced level of English
