Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Execute supplier assessment, supplier selection and supplier co-development taking into account the current material group strategies
- Evaluate inquiries and tenders as well as take relating decisions considering internal contract
- Negotiate costs and conditions (incl. batch sizes, packaging and shipping concepts) by making use of a qualified supplier portfolio and all procurement leverages
- Conclude contracts on an international basis together with Legal Affairs
- Ensure material supply in case of critical situations with missing parts/stock outage
- Supplier risk management
- Supplier relationship management, incl. top management meetings
