What will be your job duties?

You might not have heard of Alma Career, but we’re sure you’ve heard about companies that live under our umbrella such as LMC in Czechia (Jobs.cz, Prace.cz, Seduo.cz etc.) or Profesia in Slovakia (Profesia.sk, Paylab.com, platy.sk, Tulu.sk etc.) and many others. Our handiwork includes well-known brands all over the Europe from Finland to Croatia. And this means that we want to make our already strong Internal Solutions -team even stronger. We are looking for reinforcements in the Central Region, which would include the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.

What will be your working environment?
Alma Career has a global Technology function consisting of teams responsible for serving our businesses. We do this by continuously developing our Digital Workspace - the set of tools and best practices used by our employees. We are also responsible for actively exploring and sharing knowledge on relevant emerging technologies and capabilities.

One of the teams is Internal Solutions, which is responsible for the development, delivery and management of applications and systems Alma Career employees use in their work.

Team consists of solution specialists around Europe and now we are looking for a new member, based in Prague or Bratislava.

What is our strategy and how do we build our future?
All business units in Alma Career have experienced strong growth in the past and created systems and solutions according to business needs, standards and capabilities. Doing this independently has led into variety in chosen systems and architectures.

As our organization has reshaped itself we have to find new ways to optimally serv it. This will mean close involvement with different parts of our organization and their users. Underlying business requirements are very much the same and we are driving for the efficient fulfillment of their needs.

What will be your mission as a Solution Specialist
We are in the beginning of a transformation. Our business is freshly re-organized from individual silos to global functions supporting regional businesses. The whole organization is rebuilding and -imaging itself, you will be an important part of this and responsible for:

  • Active participation in the harmonization of our current application and tools (Microsoft 365 environment, JIRA, Notion, Miro, Slack)
  • Identifying and assessing technological solutions that business processes need
  • Assisting with systems and tools integrations
  • Troubleshooting and solving current application solutions
  • Providing technical support to teams within the organization (user access, license plan etc.)
  • Delivery of education and tools training for teams within the business
  • Maintaining plans and upgrades to Internal solutions applications
  • Ensuring of comprehensive documentation database of FAQ

What do we require?

What do we expect from you?
  • First of all we do not really care about years of experience or any amount of university diplomas – we are looking for somebody who really understand this field and can provide us with his/her “solution wisdom”.
  • Thanks to that we expect that you will be well equipped to manage any application data migrations/consolidation following the agreed roadmap.
  • You should be also able to configure and maintain applications in mainly SaaS environment for different business areas.
  • If you will come to any application error, we expect you to determine the cause and then take care about the fixing.
  • And lastly we expect that you as our solution grand-master will be able to provide any front-end support needed in internal departments.
