Convex are looking for Data Analysts (Data Ops) whose main focus is on improving data
quality and automating data management processes.
As our Data Analyst (Data Ops) you should be passionate about using latest technology
to collect data from a variety of sources, to explore structured, semi-structured, and
unstructured data, to assess and improve data quality, to drive data integrity and data
transformation initiatives as well as to generate insights from all available information.

• Party data ingestion (assessment, distribution, administration, and quality
assurance)

More than 3 years of experience working as Data Analyst
Personality requirements and skills
• Experience in data catalogue/metadata management
• Good understanding of data architecture and data modelling
• Experience data querying and extracting from SQL and APIs
• Strong data mapping and complex workflow configuration skills
• Good data quality or similar level data analysis experience required
• Experience in moving data from one system to another including transformation or manipulation of data during that process as needed (data ingestion)
• Good communication skills; in particular possess ability to understand and communicate complex technical issues clearly to a non-technical audience
• Experience in a fast-moving environment, working within context and constraints of a wider Agile project management framework
Nice to have:
• Innovative with an ability to adapt quickly to new technologies; Snowflake, Ataccama, Atlassian
• Programming skills using Python and Java
• Good knowledge of AWS services
• Experience in using robotics or AI in order to facilitate data collection, cleansing and ingestion
• Ability to work as part of a non-hierarchical, dynamic team
• Experience in the commercial insurance industry would be beneficial
