We are a Swiss management consulting company with a global footprint and trusted partner to financial services providers, solving their biggest challenges and helping businesses evolve to capture the potential of the new economy.
The Actuarial function sits within the Actuarial, Claims and Data team under Group Chief Actuary. The team works closely with the Portfolio Optimisation (PO), Underwriting and Finance teams in supporting the business with Actuarial oversight and insights through data analytics as well as fulfilling regulatory reporting requirements. The PO and Actuarial teams operate an offensive and defensive strategy which allows creative thinking and new ways of working to create a truly data-led insurance business.
Your Tasks:
• Be part of the team that is responsible for the build out and UAT of a leading reserving solution to be deployed during 2022
• Support the delivery of the quarterly reserving process
• Manage the reserving solution through Dataiku
• Work on generation of reports for Reserving Committee
• Work with External Auditors and Independent reviewers in their assessment of the reserving work
• Support the Actuarial function with the coordination and calculation of technical provisions
• Continue to help the actuarial team build out the reserving solution to incorporate Machine Learning and advanced data science techniques
• Help with analysis to back up our Underwriting and Ceded Strategy
• Engaging with and influencing key stakeholders across the company with a focus on building actuarial analysis which will feedback into the front-line decision-making

Experience in the position/sector
Qualified actuary, through professional accreditation, with at least 3 years of experience.
