  • Wage (gross): From 3 000 EUR/monthBasic wage component (gross) and other rewards: from 3000,-Euro/month (final monthly basic salary is based on candidate´s professional experience, skills and knowledge)
  • Start date: by agreement

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose and goal of position:
- Manage team and processes in the Supply Chain Management department incl. Procurement & Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouses and Customer Service.

Main Tasks (across companies, divisions, units)
- Lead, manage and control the “Supply Chain Management” department incl. Procurement & Purchasing, Logistics, Warehouses and Customer Service.
- Train/develop employees and ensure a high level of employee engagement.
- Support the Company on its digitization journey.
- Develop and implement new, efficient solutions/concepts.
- Be responsible for the smooth and cost-efficient material flow from the supplier to the customer (in close collaboration with Sales).
- Search for, evaluate and maintain the relationship with suppliers.
- Conduct contract negotiations and regulate the procurement & purchasing processes, the pricing and the quality requirements.
- Optimize the internal and external logistics (incl. centralization of warehouses) considering customs and VAT regulations and transport-related issues.
- Control the inventory state and ensure continuous optimizing.
- Ensure great customer experience and a high level of customer satisfaction/retention.
- Ensure adequate, timely reaction and communication incl. complaint management and accurate recording and processing of inquiries.

Required education

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Education:
University or college degree in logistics or Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Transportation or similar economics field

Active knowledge of English both written and oral
Work experience / expertise (numbers of years of experience, technical skills)
- Broad experience of minimum 5 years in supply chain management (Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse, Customer Service)
- At least 3 years of experience in a management position (with 10-20 people)
- Process improvement experience
Additional skills / competencies (IT skills, language skills, driver’s license, …)
- MS Office
- SAP
- Slovak - native language; English - fluent (B2 - C1)
- Travelling: up to 20 %
Personal / social skills (leadership, team player, motivated, goal-oriented, trustworthy, …)
- Proven people management & leadership skills (coaching approach, delegation etc.)
- Excellent planning and organizing skills, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks, good time management skills
