IT Engineer (HW/SW)

  • Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: from 1300,-Euro/month (final monthly basic salary is based on candidate´s professional experience, skills and knowledge)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Coordinate communications between suppliers, OEM, and business stakeholders for their service function
- Stakeholder management, share regular updates and assist in preparing operational reports
- Support & configuration of shop devices (e.g. Printers, scanners, HMI, Andon Boards etc.)
- Triaging of issues and timely resolution with cross functional teams for timely resolution
- Follow service management processes (e.g. Incident, Change, Capacity, Problem etc.)
- Maintain and manage spares inventory, hot swaps, conduct system health-checks and monitoring, preventative maintenance activities
- Maintaining agreed SLA levels and assuring Quality of delivery at all times
- Adhere to shift rotation plan and Operating model
- This role will be responsibilities for L1 Support activities as mentioned below:
• Support & configuration of barcode scanners (ex. Datalogic, Motorola, Honeywell hand held, Intermec etc.)
• Support & configuration of barcode printers for Shop Floor and Office (ex. Zebra, Printronix, Intermec etc.)
• Support & configuration of any printer (non barcode) on shop floor and in office like HP
• Support & configuration of smart devices such as MX2 / Motion and Dell Tablets for work-stations
• Support & Configuration of PC's (Critical Shop Floor and Office)
• Co-ordination with towers team (AM (MES, SAP), NW, DCH, EUS) for End user related activities
• Support and Configuration of line side devices, MRTs, Dell Tablets/Touch Pads etc.
• Knowledge on Manufacturing Shop Devices like Printers, Scanners, MRTs etc

Requirements for the employee

Required education

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Windows - basic
UNIX/Linux - basic

Personality requirements and skills

- Prior experience in Manufacturing (Automotive Plant floor service is preferred) 2-5 years
- Basic computer hardware knowledge
- Should be able to check / monitor server status and system health
- Basic software applications knowledge
- Should be able to logon to plant floor applications, check log files, handle monitoring tools etc.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server
- Analytical, reasoning and basic troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Supportive team worker
- Proactive and self-driven
