Delivery Lead MES

  • Wage (gross): from 2600,-Euro/month (final monthly basic salary is based on candidate´s professional experience, skills and knowledge)

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Single Point of Contact for MES and Plant Floor Application project implementation including cross functional team coordination for Technical resolution
- Day to day incident monitoring and resolution (Remedy preferred) management
- Taking lead role during major/critical problems and address issues resolution
- Act as communication hub and setup and moderate conference calls with business and IM to address issues escalations
- Invoke crisis management process and follow-up on issues root cause resolution with corrective / preventive measures.
- Triaging of issues and timely resolution with cross functional teams for timely resolution
- Interaction with client (IT & Business users) on functional issues
- Conduct impact assessment (IA) on changes introduced to the Solution and determine Impact and regression scope
- Stakeholder management, share regular updates and assist in preparing operational reports
- Follow service management processes (e.g. Incident, Change, Capacity, Problem etc.)
- ITIL Foundation certification & very well aware of ITIL processes.
- Maintaining agreed SLA levels and assuring Quality of delivery at all times
- Adhere to shift rotation plan and Operating model
- Lead system scale initiatives to prepare for high volume events and seasonal peaks.

Personality requirements and skills

Around 3-5 years of IT Service Delivery and Project Management experience in supporting manufacturing (or similar industry) production systems
- Should be able to experience to manage MES first line support team of approx. 10-15 resources (Onsite and Offshore)
- Understanding of GE MES or similar MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Application knowledge
- Techno-Functional / Cross Tower experience
- Good understanding of Manufacturing business processes, Workflow & Plant Applications
- Experience working in a dynamic & highly demanding Environment
- Proven experience in Automotive Industry
- Experience working in a dynamic & highly demanding Environment
- Experience in handling cross functional, cross tower teams
- Experience in working & delivering manufacturing systems preferably on Legacy & GE Suite of products
- Experience in MES solution implementation and support
- Experience of developing and supporting manufacturing systems developed using GE Cimplicity (mainly) and other GE Porficy Suite products (Desirable)
- Understanding of Automotive IT landscapes (Plant Networks, Datacentres, Database, Plant Floor Application, Track side Equipment’s, etc., ERP & Warehouse apps)
