Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Significant engagement in driving the portfolio of activity allocated to Renewable Gas Business, in alignment with the Renewable Gas leadership team and the Managing Director
- Coordination of the resources in Slovakia for RG projects including resource monitoring and allocation
- Accountability for on time, on quality and within budget delivery of Renewable Gas projects managed out of the Slovakia
- Support improvement of processes and tools to drive competitiveness and profitability out of the execution of Renewable Gas projects out of Slovakia
- Proactively identifies gaps in terms of skills and capacity within the organisation and drives the required actions required to close them
- Securing and coordinating the Know how Transfer with the internal expert groups and the team(s) in Slovakia
- Full awareness including compliance with and implementation of requirements relevant to the role

Personality requirements and skills

Job specific qualification:

- Completed Bachelor's/Master's studies, preferably in a technical domain; additional business administration studies will be valued
- More than 10 years of experience in operational roles with relevant exposure to business grow and business transformation
- Proven experience in leading teams both directly (as line manager) or indirectly (as functional manager)
- Experience in driving competitiveness improvement initiatives, greatly valued
- Experience with construction or operation of Anaerobic Digestion plants, greatly valued
- Track record in understanding the business case of the customer and driving win-win solutions
- High customer focus with proven ability to communicate effectively
- Entrepreneurial and innovative mind-set involving a high level of personal initiative, self-drive and resilience
- Intercultural competence: ability to function effectively across cultures, to think and act appropriately, to communicate and work with people from different cultural backgrounds, and to develop the own intercultural and transcultural competencies
- Fostering the long-term internal cooperation based on the company values
- Business fluent in written and spoken English and Slovak, additional languages are beneficial
- Very good user knowledge of MS Office Fluency in English.
