Job description, responsibilities and duties

The role of HR Business partner in Slovakia is the key person for Slovakian and Central Europe Leadership team in all employee related issues. This person takes care of 155 employee around whole Slovakia on 25 sites. Besides daily labour law issues, HR Business Partner is supporting all organisational changes, driving new projects and helping moving the business ahead. HR Department is supported with administrative issues from our HR Shared Service Centers in Brno, so her/his focus should be more in business partnering role. Ideal candidate profile doesn´t need to be “HR guru” – although we expect some HR experiences to provide expertise in Labour Law, we would appreciate proactive person, who is driving changes and looking for new ways of doing things.

Shortterm (0-3 months)

• create relationship with the key local business stakeholders, it means during the first 3 months visit personally all relevant PPG sites (CZ + SK warehouse centers, SK captive stores, CZ production plant)
• within first 30 days be in a position to manage all administrative tasks and payroll monthly closing
• By the end of Q1 learn basic PPG processes connected with COE (Center of excellence = mainly Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development)

Longterm (3-18 months):

• get familiar with our business strategy (it means understand customer needs, basic product portfolie, etc. Being the part of monthly sales meetings to feel „customer voice“ )
• become key consultancy person in all HR related issues for both employees and managers, driving organisational changes
• by the end of Q4 2018 identify areas for improvement from HR point of view
• lead the project of new IT HR system in Slovakia, being responsible for its implementation
• by the end of July 2018 prepare HR budget ( personal budget almost 4000k EUR)
• take part in regional HR team and be able to by the end of June 2019 drive one of x-country projects
