Technical Service and Sales Representative

Main responsibility is to monitor the daily production results from painting process areas in the customers paint shops. This will be achieved by ensuring, monitoring and analyzing measured results. Information will be regularly distributed to PPG laboratory and team. Information will be recorded and when concerns are noted the TSSR will investigate accordingly applying recognized problem solving techniques and make recommendations to the relevant area supervisor and engineers, and regularly communicate performance to his supervisor, laboratory and relevant customer personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all PPG and customer safety requirements and ethical standards are met at all times
• Perform a workshop adaptation of PPG products according to customer requirements
• Establish and implement communication links / visits to Inspection area, visits to customer line laboratory, visits to customer process engineers on a regular basis.
• Ensure a good flow of information between the PPG laboratory, management and the customer
• Conduct monitoring of production lines, where PPG products are used. Regularly monitor painted parts, and process equipment, at key stages of paint process and inspection and investigate any concerns noted in a dynamic and proactive basis
• Report the problems immediately to supervisor and take appropriate preventive actions. Apply a logical and calculated approach to problem resolution, and instruct the operators to make changes as and when required
• Undertake regular process reviews to investigate potential sales opportunities, quality improvements and cost saving benefits
• Support and perform tanning for new or less experienced TSSR
• Update and distribute weekly report internally to define current performance
