Job description, responsibilities and duties
We need an independent Python developer, who is able to work on our projects in Europe. Travel to customers is not requested!
In Port Cities, we have 70+ developers with different backgrounds and skillset, but most of them are in Asia or America, you would be the developer #1 in Europe which offers the option to build your own team in the very near future. (But if you don't like people management responsibility, we are happy to accept an individual contributor as well.)
YOUR RESPONSABILITIES
- Design technical solutions based on the functional design of our analysts.
- Analyze the complexity of customers' requirements.
- Develop custom modules into the Odoo ERP system.
- Review the code and ensure its stability, reliability and performance.
- Analyze the issues, errors as well as debugging needs.
- Train and coach the Junior developers - optional, if you like to do that
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must Have:
- Experienced with a Python Language or other OOP language
- English min. B2, as you will be working with our teams abroad as well.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with DB Query (MySQL, Oracle, Postgre) is an advantage.
- Experience with Git/Repository management is an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
- Experience with website/POS/Mobile Dev is an advantage.
