Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
To our quality team we are looking for a dynamic and flexible person, who likes to spent time on the site and have experience in supply chain area.
The main responsibilities in this position are as follows:
• Design and implement improvements in the supply-chain (lay out, physical and information flows…) based on Lean principles
• Propose improvement for packaging
• Participation to internal logistics audit
• Risk analysis, FMEA participation, inventory process improvements, contingency plan review
• Active participation to all actions linked with stock reliability target
• Follow logistics topics for new projects or serial modification to ensure best efficiency
• Calculation of storage area and update of plant needs according new project
• Collaboration with production to integrate new constraint in Production Planning management
• Overview on new item or new warehouse creation in SAP and update logistics tools/procedures
• Anticipate the end of life of product and watch over the Master planner and the Logistics planner to avoid obsolete stock
• In charge of checking consistency of all process changes impacting the logistics. Validate modification request from logistics point of view
