Paint Setting Engineer

We are looking for a person who has a passion for robot programming and likes to find technical solutions to satisfy customer requirements. The main tasks are:

• Define and create paths programming on CAD or directly on robots in accordance with application rules for development
• Set the paint application parameters in accordance with customers’ specifications
• Ensure the necessary commissioning with the plant and equipment supplier to reach expected quality and performance levels
• Support plants in optimization/performance improvement, path programming transfer and quality of application optimization
• Support of Production department in quality and maintenance issues
• Create and keep updated documentation, standards according changes linked with new development
• Examine the feasibility of all new painting processes and new products and validate all improvements before to start in production mode
• Prepare, plan and follow all painting tests inside or outside of production time
• Train and inform the Paint Pilot Leader an all modifications of processes
• Contribute, define the maintenance procedures
• Propose and implement continuous productivity and quality improvement actions concerning painting application
