Job description, responsibilities and duties
Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior in Lozorno is an important manufacturing plant that has started its operation in 2000 and became reliable supplier for customers in automotive industry. Currently employs around 750 employees.
As a maintenance leader you will:
• Be part of the procurement of new equipment to assure manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety & Environmental and requirements are met
• Contribute, in liaison with the Manufacturing Engineering Department, to define technical specifications for new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities
• Define, direct and coordinate preventive maintenance requirements for all equipment and tools
• Support continuous improvement efforts: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for all facilities
• Support the development of target Material & Information Flow Analysis (MIFA) and plant layout
• Define and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies
• Manage the spare parts and consumables warehouse
• Recommend safety policies and assure safety/legal controls are tested and reliable
• Coordinate and manage the FAE maintenance team
• Ensure the continuous development and coaching of maintenance technicians
• Facilitate equipment moves, keep up to date documentation related to maintenance, follow and respect the budget target
