Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
To our Global Operations and Supervision IT department we are looking for an experienced team member responsible for definition and regular follow-up of operations on IT systems of Plastic Omnium. His/her specialization will be backup of data and its monitoring:
• Regular IT Operational tasks, Backup (HP DataProtector, Commvault, Netbackup), Restore, DRP testing
• Regular, systematic audits of all system
• Supports and evolves reporting tools on Global IT infrastructure
• Can be part of certain phases of lager projects within his/her competencies
• Coordination of his/her activities with sites, Divisions and Group IT Technical Pole team
• Follows and evolves Group IT Technical Pole guidelines for operations on systems
• Reporting of activities in written form (operations activities journal - daily)
• He/she is expected to propose improvements for his/her jobs, organization and methodology within the range of his/her responsibilities and formalize them in written form (ex.: analyzes of capacities, etc.)
• Maintain up to date documentation of operations
• Exchange best practices on shared systems
