Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Within our factory in Hlohovec, producing exterior plastic parts for car makers, you will be part of the supply chain team reporting to the logistics manager.
Therefore your main responsibilities will be :
Ongoing Improvement:
• Design and implement improvements in the supply-chain (lay out, physical and information flows…) based on Lean principles and PO best practices
• Propose improvement for packaging.
• Participation to internal logistics audit (MMOG-LE, 5S...).
• Risk analysis, FMEA participation, inventory process improvements, contingency plan review.
• Active participation to all actions linked with stock reliability target.
• Logistics manager deputy
New flow / Modification / End of life:
• Follow logistics topics for new projects or serial modification to ensure best efficiency.
• Calculation of storage area and update of plant needs according new project.
• Collaboration with production to integrate new constraint in Production Planning management
• Overview on new item or new warehouse creation in SAP and update logistics tools/procedures.
• Anticipate the end of life of product and watch over the Master planner and the Logistics planner to avoid obsolete stock
• In charge of checking consistency of all process changes impacting the logistics. Validate modification request from logistics point of view.
