Job description, responsibilities and duties
Plastic Omnium Technical center in Lozorno is the main engineering center in Central Europe for the Division Auto Exterior. We are developping brand new products, for our premium customers (JLR, VW, Porsche..).
As a supply chain engineer, your main missions will be to work on the projects in pre-serial phase:
* developing the supply-chain scheme from suppliers to customers : physicals flows, information flows
* contributes at the logistics specifications of Supply Chain’s means. Validates the layout of the inbound and outbound flows. Takes part in the choice of logistics sites.
* defines the logistics organizations, human resources, means
* realizes the quantifications / logistic budget
* defines optimum stock levels at each step of the process, out of concern for optimization of the Lead Time
* puts logistics specifications and logistics policy in place.
* Supports the plant during the phase of start of production and the ramp-up
