Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Logistic Method Engineer will implement corporate supply-chain best practices in the plant. Apply existing standards, be pillar of continuous improvement process in logistics and secure systematic and methodological approach to problem solving.
 Design and implement improvements in the supply-chain (lay out, physical and information flows…) based on Lean principles and PO best practices
 Propose improvement for packaging. Participate to validation of new packaging.
 Participation to internal logistics audit (MMLOG, 5S...).
 Identify and measure issues (customers, suppliers, external and internal, logistics provider) and propose improvement opportunities for supply-chain.
 Able to organize and lead meeting/workshop with other department in order to set up actions.
 Create and animate training modules.
 Contribution to progress plan achievement according his logistics skills.
 Active participation to all actions linked with stock reliability target.
 Participation to decisions for packagings and layout ( calculation of storage areas )

- 3 years experience in logistics methods / operations / process flow / lean
- experience in project management
- university technical degree
- extensive knowledge of materials management as well as manufacturing processes and tools
